Isibindi Zulu Lodge
Isibindi Zulu Lodge is situated in the heart of the famous Anglo Zulu Battlefields, Kwa Zulu Natal. Just 9kms from Rorke’s Drift and sharing a boundary with Fugitive’s Drift made famous by the late Dave Rattray who put this area on the map. It is an ideal retreat from which to explore this fascinating area.
Isibindi Zulu Lodge is situated on the rugged 2000 hectare Isibindi Eco-Reserve home to various species of Plains Game and many bird species. Guests can explore the reserve either on foot or on guided game drives. The many gravel roads and game paths offer challenging mountain biking terrain for the more adventurous and during the summer months it is great fun to cool off in the rivers. A visit to the nearby battlefields of the Anglo Zulu War are a must. Fascinating trips are offered into the surrounding hills and valleys where one can learn more about the mighty Zulu nation.
